Very hard to find original WESTERN silent film movie theater herald for the thrilling Wyoming drama... THE MAN FROM PAINTED POST. When opened up completely it’s 8 x 8 inches. The Man From Painted Post is a 1917 American Western drama film produced by and starring DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS, the scenario by Fairbanks is based on the short story Silver Slippers by Jackson Gregory. Joseph Henabery (Henaberry) is the official director, with probably a lot of input by Fairbanks himself, and future director Victor Fleming is the cinematographer. A copy of the film survive in 16 mm format. Distributed by Artcraft Pictures Corp. Used condition, crease marks and edge wear and tear. This is from The Butler Theater in Tonopah, Nevada.
