Rare 1887 menu on silk or satin cloth for the Omaha Board of Trade, Tuesday, October 4th, 1887. Some famous names are listed such as Attorney James M. Woolworth, Thomas Lord Kimball of Railroad Fame, Bishop Worthington, Gilbert Monell Hitchcock of politician and newspaper fame, and I believe that J.C. Cowin who is listed for "The Bar" is Judge John Clay Cowin. Note that besides the Blue Points On The Shell Oysters and the California Salmon, that the menu also includes cigarettes and cigars! The size is 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Most of our menus were actually used in the restaurant, so there may be writing, wear and tear, spots, stains, crinkles and creases, etc., so please examine the images closely. Fold marks, stains, and this appears to have been pulled out of one of those older albums that had sticky pages, so the back still has that attached. inventory# b19-12.
