We are very pleased to offer some beautiful antique hand-tinted color maps rescued from a badly damaged Mitchell's New General Atlas dated 1865. Augustus Mitchell was the premier map-maker of the time.
For provenance, a copy of the title page will be provided.
This map of the "County Map Of England & Wales." is dated 1860 in the bottom margin.
Huge size of 12.5 x 15.3 inches! Very good, some edge wear and marks, please examine the images for a better idea of condition.
