Wow! Here is a collection of two original signed letters about the United States Air Force Thunderbirds Air Force Demonstration Squadron show at the state of Washington Mcchord AFB 25th Air Division (SAGE) in 1963!
One letter is on the original Thunderbirds letterhead stationary and is from Lt. Colonel Commander (Bill) William A. Alden at Nellis AFB to Major General Commander H.R. Spicer at the Mcchord AFB. Comander Alden talks about the bad weather, yet a profitable visit, he thanks Lt. Col. Edwin D. Coverly and Captain John E. Collins for their professionalism. It is signed by Bill Alden. It has folds and staple hole marks.
The other letter is from Major General Commander H.R. Spicer at the Mcchord AFB to Lt. Col. Edwin D. Coverly. Signed by Commander H.R. Spicer. No fold marks, has staple hole marks. You also get the original carbon copy of this letter which is on see through tissue type paper.
