Original 1973 "real food photos" style menu from CLOVERLEAF KITCHENS, I was told this place was somewhere around the Chicago area, or maybe the headquarters were. Food menu categories included FILL'ER UP SANDWICHES, IS YOUR RIG OVERLOADED (diet Weight Watchers stuff! haha), & TRAVELERS FAVORITES. For breakfast you could get the ROAD KING which was sausage, bacon or ham with three large eggs, grits or hashbrowns, buttered toast or biscuits, all for $3.15, or you could get the BIG RIG which included US choice steak and two large eggs, hashbrowns or grits, buttered toast or biscuits, all for $4.60, or a full 1 pound T-bone steak US choice would cost you $7.75. This may have been an Interstate Truck Stop type of restaurant. The front cover shows a variety of road signs and on the back is an explanation of the International Sign Language System of road signs. In small print near the bottom it says Interstate CGI. On the back of the menu it says Copyright Interpoint Corporation 1973. I found this menu very interesting and would like to learn more history on this place if anybody happens to know! This menu is 14.5 inches tall, 17.5 inches wide when open. Used condition. Most of our menus were actually used in the restaurant, there may be writing, wear and tear, spots, stains, crinkles and creases, etc., so please ask questions and examine the images closely before your purchase.
