"Happy Days Are Here Again"

From USA Today... Set in Laclede's Landing, a historic industrial area captivating visitors with its cobblestone roads and 100-year-old buildings, Hannegan's Restaurant and Pub serves fine American cuisine. Named for St. Louis' "Big Boss", Robert E. Hannegan--a New Deal politician--Hannegan's provides an atmosphere geared toward appreciating and embracing the political process. Juan's House Made Chili, sandwiches such as the Jack Daniels BBQ Pulled Pork, as well as Hannegan's traditional entrees--like Hannegan's Irish Stew and Madeline's Shrimp Pasta-- have been attracting patrons for years. Visitors can also enjoy local jazz musicians on Saturday nights, perhaps while tasting Hannegan's Housemade Mud Pie.
