Size: 9.5 x 11.7 inches (24 x 30 cm) on thicker stock paper.
Condition: Very good. Tiny surface scratch on the base of the left statue. Please examine the images closely for any small imperfections, there may be edge wear & tear, spots, etc. This was originally in an accordion folio style book, so there may be binding remnants on the verso (back), which provides origin provenance.

Rudolf Franz Lehnert and Ernst Landrock were both photographers who teamed up for photographic expeditions in the early 1900's, they produced absolutely stunning images that were sold all over the world. Most of the images were taken by Lehnert. The first shop where they sold their photos was in Tunis.
A Heliogravure is a photographic printing process made up of two steps: A Photochemical process that creates the intaglio surface where the photographic image is etched into a copper plate. The copper plate is used to print the image onto etching paper using inks. The resulting image is a high quality photograph with warm rich sepia tones.
