Original 1950's era menu from ALDERWOOD COUTRY CLUB in Portland. The Alderwood Country Club was an 18 hole golf course designed by Vernon Macon. Alderwood Country Club hosted the 1937 US Amateur. The course closed in 1953. The course sat on what is now the North runway for Portland International Airport (PDX), which is the runway for incoming flights. This menu is 9 inches tall, 12 inches wide when open. The cover has a cool pearl essence design that shimmers a bit as you turn it. Hand typed menu insert shows some great prices, Prime Rib of Beef $3.00, New York Steak $3.75, Grilled Pork Chops/Apple Sauce $2.50. Used condition, stains, surface tears, paperclip marks, etc. Most of our menus were actually used in the restaurant, there may be writing, wear and tear, spots, stains, crinkles and creases, etc., so please ask questions and examine the images closely before your purchase.
