Southern California estate sale find! Extremely hard to find Lucite paperweight commemorating the burying of two time capsules in celebration of the Japan World Exposition in 1970. This was a joint partnership between Panasonic (Matsushita Electric) and The Mainichi Newspapers. The paperweight size is 4 inches tall and 2.75 inches wide. It's in pretty good condition, used, some scratches, mainly on the bottom. I was told that these were presented as gifts to Matsushita executives.
