Description
This is a collection of five prototype lighters from R.J. Reynolds in the original packaging with a plastic top. The first two photos are without the plastic top, the second photo shows the backs. These came from the estate of a long-time R.J. Reynolds Sales Manager, he kept many advertising items from the company as well as some prototypes, like these!
These feature Vantage (Excel), Salem (Fresh On The Scene & Refreshest), Winston, and a cool one for "Smokers' Rights" with an 800 number on the back, I already called it, disconnected! I was told these were from the 1980's and that some of these were approved and made, while some were never produced.
Two other different R.J. Reynolds prototype sets will be listed as well.
