This rare book was printed after WW2 by the Marine Corps League in Modesto California.
There is no publisher or date.
There are 96 pages of photos and biographies for many servicemen from all the branches. As far as I can tell, the ones with an * were killed in action. There is a famous poem at the beginning about the Gold Star Mothers by Mary Ellen White. It appears that all or most of the servicemen in this book either had their training in or were stationed in California. So if you are looking for someone who was trained or stationed in California, send me an email and I will check for the name. But, I know that it does not have everyone that was trained or stationed in California, because my uncle Guido did both and is not in it.
Of interest... one of the entries is for William King, he was the founding member of the MC League Modesto detachment (see photo).
