Wow! This is a very rare Shell Beta Production Unit Oil bottle from offshore Platform Elly (Long Beach, Ca.). It is part of the One Millionth barrel of oil shipped from Elly on October 30, 1981. These were used for testing purposes. This one is full of oil and is still sealed, smells wonderful, I want to open it to get a better whiff, but I will let you do it! 6 inches tall. Please examine photos for a better idea of condition.
This came from a huge vintage oil-petroleum collection that we purchased from the estate of a long-time Shell Oil employee, which included many one of a kind items like this!
