This photo was part of a collection of publicity & news photos from the early 1900's, mainly in the 1920's and 1930's. The number 1855 is most likely just a reference number, not a date, such numbers were on most of the other photos. The photo was hand re-touched up prior to the printing. Size is 5 x 8 inches.
